Learn how to make a Pumpkin Motanka - a handcrafted doll, imbued with beauty and positive energy. The doll is made from remnants of cloth and assembled without the use of a needle or scissors. You can make it for your own family, or pass it on as a gift.

An accomplished maker of the dolls, Nadiia Voloshchuk will guide you through all the steps of transforming plain materials of everyday life into a work of art.
All materials will be provided. (fabric, ribbons, decorations).

This workshop is presented in collaboration with SOL Multicultural Music Festival, an annual Toronto celebration of music, art, and cultural exchange. Through performances, artist talks, and workshops, the festival brings together diverse cultural traditions and creative practices from across the GTA.
