two-day embroidery workshop with Bozena Hrycyna

Join us in making a cross-stitch embroidered ornament for the holidays, complete with gold threads and a little jingle bell. We’ll be working with cotton aida cloth (designed for beginner cross-stitch), cotton and metallic DMC embroidery floss, repurposed cloth, ribbons, yarn, and little adornments. Bozena will show you the basic elements of successful cross-stitch and sewing, with a chance to try free-hand embroidery if so desired.

Cost: $50 per person. Templates and materials included
Ages: 8 & up. Families welcome
Level: Beginner to intermediate
Length: 3 hours (two evenings 1.5 hrs each)
